The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Ex-Servicemen Association (SLSR-ESA) is a proud organization dedicated to preserving the heritage, values, and comradeship of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment while fostering the welfare and unity of its retired officers and soldiers. Established by former members of the Regiment, the Association serves as a platform to strengthen lifelong bonds among veterans and to honor the sacrifices made in service to the nation.
The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, founded on 1 October 1956, is one of the most distinguished infantry regiments of the Sri Lanka Army. Since its inception, the Regiment has earned a reputation for courage, discipline, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sri Lanka. Throughout its proud history, Sinha Regiment personnel have participated in numerous military operations and have produced some of the nation’s most celebrated war heroes.
The Ex-Servicemen Association is committed to maintaining the Regiment’s proud traditions and ensuring that the legacy of its veterans is passed on to future generations.
